After spending 4 nights and 5 days in a hotel, over this past Christmas week anxiously awaiting the miracle of power, I can thankfully and happily say "there's no place like home." This experience truly brings home (even more than before) the realization of how the simple pleasures in life can easily be taken for granted.
As I'm writing this, there are still over 70,000 homes without power in the GTA and possibly a couple of days yet before we are back to normal. A huge round of applause for the Toronto and Ontario Hydro crews as well as the forestry workers who are working around the clock and sacrificing their holidays to restore power to every home and business that has been affected.
Christmas merchandise continues to fly out the Singing Lady doors BUT it will move much faster now that we are offering anything that is left at the bottom price. Here's 30 featured items to ponder.
The website will not reflect the bottom price on a good majority of what remains but we will honour the bottom price on all consigned Christmas items if you purchase in store or over the phone.
As you prepare for your New Years Eve festivities, keep us in mind if you need glassware, ice buckets, table setting pieces or even extra chairs.
We are open on New Year's until 3pm, closed for New Years Day and then back to our regular hours as of January 2nd.
Enjoy the 33 featured New Arrivals included at the end of this newsletter.
Happy New Year and Happy weekend shopping. Please be safe and stay warm!
Tammie & The Singing Lady Team
Every day, we get new arrivals — fabulous finds you won't find anywhere else. Here is a small sampling of the new arrivals from the last week but there are many more in the store. We currently have over 6,000 items in the store and it keeps changing all the time. Our motto is, "If you snooze, you lose!". If you see something you like, you had better snatch it up quick because there is a good chance it won't be there the next time you visit.
