Every day we're asked the same questions. One of the most often asked questions is what happens if I consign something and it doesn't sell? The answer is quite simple.
Here at the Singing Lady, we know what will be of interest. What is the point in consigning something that won't garner interest? Our return rate for expired items that have finished their term is very low. In fact, 98% of what we approve for consignment actually sells.
Sure, you may have consigned 10 smaller items with us and at the end of 180 days, we may return 1 or 2 of them to you that haven't sold because at that point, they are yours to retrieve back BUT selling 8 out of 10 is pretty darn fine.
When it comes to furniture - the same applies. We are particularly fussy about overall condition. The cost of refinishing or reupholstering something can outweigh the cost of the starting price. Our hope is that it leaves our store and goes right into your home.
So a little newsletter feature on this past week's furniture intake seems appropriate. Twenty seven pieces are featured here - more did arrive but they already sold. Zoomed in ... and zoomed right out!
For all the other new arrivals in today's newsletter - take a very close look. If you're a Le Creuset fan - some beauties are here.
It's always an interesting mix and that's what I love about our weekly newsletters!
I also love that you keep on receiving it!

Every day, we get new arrivals — fabulous finds you won't find anywhere else. Here is a small sampling of the new arrivals from the last week but there are many more in the store. We currently have over 6,000 items in the store and it keeps changing all the time. Our motto is, "If you snooze, you lose!". If you see something you like, you had better snatch it up quick because there is a good chance it won't be there the next time you visit.
