Are we not always on the hunt for the most perfect storage solution? Boxes of any kind, shape or size seem to come and go very quickly at The Singing Lady. We have many avid collectors always on the hunt for old boxes, jewellery chests, crates and hinged primitive trunks.

Looking around my desk right now I see eight things I use for storage. An old Haeger plant pot holds all my pens, an even smaller one holds my postage. A small square carved lidded box is the keeper of my memory cards. A divided rattan organizer sorts my envelopes, pads and cheque books into open slots. Stand up labelled file boxes are lined up neatly in a row. A basket catches all the things I have no clue where to put and a little marquetry box keeps the highlighters all in one place. Lest I forget the open basket below to catch the numerous pieces of paper to be recycled and the other wicker basket to catch everything else.
