I'd like to be able to say that we are not well practiced for this second lockdown, but experience has taught us much and as you know, we've been in this situation before. As have all of you.
Just when we were seeing the light, possibly recovering financially from the first lockdown - here we are again.
These are scary times we are living in and my heart goes out to all small business owners, their staff and everyone impacted, who are facing uncertainty about what their future holds. We also keep all those that are suffering or have experienced loss in our prayers.
What does this mean for us? We're going to keep swimming with great hope that we can overcome this.
As of this week, our doors are now closed to the public. We cannot let anyone in to even see an item or test drive a chair.
So - this is what we can do.
We will have one staff member in each store daily and our hours of operation have been updated on our Contact Us page. This is solely for anything you would like to purchase over the phone.
We will be processing sales from our website, updated daily, and offering you curbside pickup for anything that we are physically able to get to our front door. We cannot load anything for you – we can only place it at the door and you take it the rest of the way.
Of course, we will be adhering to Covid Protocols and wearing our masks when we greet you at the door.
If you would like to purchase a larger item, for example a couch or china cabinet - we can recommend the mover we have used for over 10 years, to give you a quote for delivery. We can only have professional movers inside our premises as they are deemed an essential service.
We have cancelled many upcoming appointments but we will be able to continue to receive larger items that arrive to us, if delivered by professional movers.
The website will continue to update daily.
We have and always will be grateful for all of your support through this hardest year of our lives.
To bring a bit of cheer to what is going to be a quiet start to these 28 days – here are some new arrivals including some featured Christmas items that have arrived. We may not be able to go to many places but our home is where we need to be and nothing can stop us from making it the most special place!
